Every year there are at least 4 or 3 Immersion assemblies; these assemblies only happen once every term. And when this happens there will be a theme that the School makes for everybody. When the kids come to school the teachers will have made a movie or a play to show us what their team will be focusing on for the term.
All the teachers in every team must be included in the movie or play and the teachers can include the support staff in the project if they want. The theme the school made for the kids is called transitions. Some of the teams made movies, one did a musical and my team which is called team 5 made a play.
Transformers means to show how things change and how one thing could change everything about them and they could be changing in a drama.
Team 1 Made a movie of them guessing the emotions and this tells us that they will be focusing on emotions.
Team 2 made a movie of how the beautiful bird called the kiwi became the flightless bird and how its emotion changed and how they felt after becoming a flightless bird.
Team 3 made a musical showing how a boy changed his emotion based on what had happened in the scene. It was based on the movie Matilda.
Team 4 made a play of the teachers playing charades to guess the emotion.
Team 5 made a play of the first book of cinderella that was made and that told us that they will be focusing on how things can change in drama so they will learn drama. The teachers were all dressed up as the main characters from the story Cinderella.
I liked watching the musical about Matilda because Bobb John was eating a large giant cake.
